Where is your office?

I have an office in SE Portland Oregon but otherwise I see Oregon and California patients via telepsychiatry

Which insurances do you take?

I do not take insurance but I am happy to provide you superbills that you can submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement. Not contracting with insurance companies allows me to tailor your care to what you and I want to do rather than have your care be dictated by the insurance company.

How many visits will I need?

I will see you for a 60-minute intake visit and then usually we meet every 1-4 months thereafter for 30 minute appointments to check in. 

Do you offer medication management and therapy?

95% of my patients see me for medication management alone but I offer talk therapy on a case by case basis.

Can I see you AND my therapist?

Most of my patients are referred to me by their therapist, and they continue to see their therapist each week. I really value working closely with therapists, and I will make it a point to communicate with yours regularly to ensure your care is coordinated and comprehensive.

Are there any age requirements to become a patient?

I see adults age 18+. I occasionally see teens as young as 15. If you are 65+ you must fill out a form acknowledging that I am opted out of Medicare meaning you cannot submit my superbills to Medicare for reimbursement.
